The perfect image gallery on the web is Tomato Gallery. It is written in the fantastic programming language PHP. It uses a lot of javascript and the only flashcomponent is the uploader that makes uploading images to a simple process. Just started the new version

I just started developing the new version of Tomato Gallery. This time, I'll write (nearly) all the code from scratch. That means it will take a bit longer time than before. BTW I don't know how long time it took for the other versions.

Tomato Gallery 1.2

Tomato Gallery 2.0 is now released. Some of the new features are: album grouping, redesigned share window, images get preloaded, images are now separated to pages and you can view the images as a slideshow.

Imager is Now Tomato Gallery

Tha fantastic image gallery Imager doens't longer exist. It's now renamed to Tomato Gallery. This change was made because it was hard to make google understand that when you search for 'imager' you're not searhing for 'images'. That's why I changed the name and fell satisfied with the result. Even of the result with the tomato logo. A new well designed site is also released when you read this.

Imager has left the beta Stadium

One month and over 300 downloads after the first release, Imager php gallery has now leaved the beta stadium and v 1.0 is released and able for download. What's new in this version is primary the view mode that's now loaded with ajax. This makes that the loading time is much lower, a flash uploader, powered by swfupload, is added wich makes upload time shorter, the ftpupload function is disabled.
